You are exactly as I expected you to be. Rock solid, confident and sincere. You go girl, and happy birthday!

Thank you for making this video, so we could meet you in person. One of my favourite lines you shared was this: it's the end of knowledge, beyond understanding, and the realisation of essence. Also, seeing the intellect as a loving parent, I love that! I agree, the world needs Vednata!

So glad you saw it Jenni. I know your heart by the things you liked. And a beautiful heart it is.

You sought out one of my favourite lines too, along with the en-nobling questions because the understanding of Truth is at the heart of my life-long query: Is this true? Does this stand up to reason? Does it correspond with my own experience?

Jenni Madison's avatar

These are powerful questions; I agree they lead us, with humility and sincerity, on the path to truth.

I love your explanation of the Buddhi! Great analogy. In Ayurveda we use Brahmi amongst other herbs to strengthen the Buddhi (you probably already know this but thought to share:)

Vedanta philosophy was first shown to the world by swami vivekanand and yes it is incredible and it is beyond understanding and world needs vedanta right now.

This has been wonderful to come to know you and place a face to the Elder Sage. Although, my mind went their colour and the musty smell of the dried leaves. I did not know this about Vedanta and I open to learning more knowledge, in anthesis of it's definition from you - Millie x x x

Thank you, Millie. It’s a pleasure to connect with you too. i’ve enjoyed reading your notes. So glad you are open to exploring Vedanta. It’s a profound path…. I wonder how many others think I’m a leaf?

Camilla ©'s avatar

Hopefully they see soft living leaf, this is the one I had in mind 🍃

This is so lovely and true. Thank you for sharing, Meredith. You've also inspired me to perhaps do a video too.

Meredith ∞'s avatar

Great. The world needs more people like you.

Thank you Meredith, so lovely to meet you. 'The Elder Sage' is so perfect for you and what you share with us 🙏 ... and happy birthday to you too!

Meredith ∞'s avatar

Thank you, Sharon. You inspired me with your video, although I had been thinking about it for sometime before then…. And thank you for the birthday wishes 🙏🤍

I have found my person! love listening to you speak and i'm looking forward to more of it.

Meredith ∞'s avatar

I'm speechless... Thank you. You know, before I studied Vedanta, I couldn't speak. This knowledge makes a mute speak, and a lame person scale mountains.

this article is in perfect timing! - thankyou as always meredith, for bringing one back to reality-it is where the truth lies, in the reality of the present moment - i certainly do fluctuate with both the mind and intellect depending on my emotional state normally, from worry or concern - but i am fully aware of this by my very own nature - i have noticed that i have been just, automatically reflecting on the past, which then takes me into contemplation as to why these things have come up, learning from this, as in almost unresolved traumas or issues, or resolving them in as far as giving them the attention they need or just letting them go - life if full off what we also choose to believe with our thoughts, forgiving ourselves along the way of how we may have done or said things differently - life itself is a process of daily learning if we are truly aware of self - it all starts with the self:_) reacting and responding! Happy Birthday for your 62nd up and coming continuous sharing of your Life Journey!

Hi Amilia,

The fact that you're aware of the mind fluctuating shows immense inner growth.

I’m so glad the timing was right for you. Since this post featured my very first video on Substack, I'd love to know how did you liked it? I was thinking of you when I was preparing it. Thought you might appreciate it.

Thank you as always for walking this path with me and for sharing your own wisdom here.

Amilia's avatar

I love your first substack video Meredith - to just make the time to sit and listen to you - brings a sense of peace and calm - some may prefer videos to reading, but your reading was also not too long, Just Perfect! Thankyou for your constant sharing of your profound knowledge and wisdom:_)

How wonderful to meet you in this way. Love the way you do it.

Good vibes!

Meredith ∞'s avatar

Nothing but good vibes, my friend. What do you love about it?

The VinoSopher's Vineyard's avatar

Your open and authentic way and the beautiful metaphor you use to describe the difference between mind and intellect.

It’s such a pity we don’t learn about this worldview in the West. But fortunately we have Vedanta available nowadays 🙏

Meredith ∞'s avatar

Yes, this should be taught in schools.
