When I returned to social media after a seven year break once I decided to stop listening to "experts" and gurus telling me what I needed to do to become whatever on social media and to niche down to one small portion of who I am and what I do I realized it had never been broken and no one needed to fix me. I know me. Maybe I just needed to take this "detour" to come back to completely being me and not what anyone else thought me needed to be.
this is wonderful, meredith. all is one, one is all. i love the bubble analogy, and i find a lot of this medicine in a meditation by guy burgs: https://youtu.be/JdD8qAra0iU
i feel we are all drops that when carried by the simplistic understandings, can sink deep to dissolve back into the ocean this universe is — shapeless, vast, here, there, everywhere — far to wherever it reaches — way beyond what we know just now.
I'm so glad you got something out of this. As for your question, I will be giving three practical disciplines in my next article—How to Dissolve Ego— coming out Monday.
Love this Meredith - it comes back to "know thyself" & coming back to our true authentic self, to be me is to be free, expansive and able to keep giving! Nothing else can match the true sense of self, & the feeling of living in who we are, deflate the ego!
There are no authors who have influenced my writing. That’s just how I write. However what I write about has been heavily influenced by the philosopher, A. Pathasarathy. You’ll find 2 links at the bottom of my latest post. Let me know if you need any more help.

Thank you Kaz for your comment.
When we learn about the ego, the ego itself doesn't exist.
That’s an interesting thought. Would you like to expand on it?
This may explain it

Thank you Pen. Glad you liked it.
We are all a part of the same whole, and were made for cooperation.

Thank you Dawn.
Thank you Meredith for another fantastic piece. I learnt so much from this. But can you tell us how to drop the ego and get back to Self.
