An inspiring story - thank you for sharing it. Getting beyond our small self to our true self is a life's journey for most of us. It's wonderful that you have been able to do it with time left over to spend sharing your wisdom with us all.
And I believe also that if we can find and hold the peace within first, then we will be able to share it outwardly and join in making a better world.
We’re all at different levels of spiritual development and awareness. That calling must come to each of us at some time. Grateful to you for taking the time to read this.
I woke up thinking about this MJ. I’ve always dismissed the thought, because it sounds too egotistical — and that’s not me. I’m here to eliminate ego, not boost it. However, I am writing a book and think that there has to be some personal input there.
I love this story of your life - and am so happy that a guiding hand was guiding you to Perth, the start of your Vedanta Journey - and then to India-Vedanta Acadamey and then lucky WA we have you back! We are truly blessed to be learning from your 6 yrs at the Vedanta Academy - and the fact that you have come back to Teach us All about Vedanta thru your teachings - may we always be grateful for this, now i am happy for this, it is a special gift bestowed upon us all:_)x
thankyou Meredith - i must correct my opening few words - i meant "i love reading this story of your life" you have come from a loving family, then to expreience great sadness - to then Vedanta Academy, to then become "the Elder Sage" what a Journey, and you share that with all who choose to Listen and Learn" :_)
This is deeply moving, Meredith. The way you trace grief into clarity and inner freedom feels honest and earned. Thank you for sharing a story that holds both pain and grace so gently.
I appreciate hearing about your journey, Meredith. And I can relate to how deep loss brings us to our knees and then helps us to find the true meaning of peace.
Meredith, your story is heartbreaking and positive at the same time. Happy that your pain became passage to your growth. Thanks for sharing your story here. It surely can guide and give hope to many.
The way you trace grief into inquiry and then into discipline is compelling. I’m struck by how your search moved from distraction to devotion, and how that inner call kept getting louder until you followed it across the country. The image of you reading that book in a stranger’s home library feels like a hinge moment. I’m curious how India reshaped not just your beliefs, but your daily habits and relationships. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Of course, each one should do their bit. You are doing a wonderful job. Together we are making a difference.
That's a very incredible and inspiring story. That call does not come to many people, and it's wonderful it came to you.

Gosh I hope you're writing a memoir🤍
Never thought of it MJ
I hope you'll consider it. Your's is a beautiful story, Meredith. And a memoir would reach those that a religious text never could.
That’s interesting MJ. I guess people like personal stories.

Yes, it seems to be the way for many of us — we need a wake-up-call in the beginning. But then, the serenity… Oh, the serenity.
This is so interesting to read, a story of your life and how you found your Vedanta Journey. Looking forward to more Meredith💟🙏 Thank you💫💝
Thank you Tony 🤍

That’s kind of you to say PY. When I was in India one of my dear friends there was Sushila Yadav.
I live in India and I wanted to know all the reasons why I am sad and not happy with life. I am very happy that you are going on this big adventure.
There’s only one reason but you won’t want to hear it. Btw this adventure happened over 20 years ago.
Tell me about it ? And I am very glad it happened for you

Thanks for sharing your journey in this way 🙏🏽
