For many years I know I have been guided back to the Child within me.. the True Self...the pure self, filled with joyful playfullness; open curiosity, unconditional love...a return to innocence.
I channel children's stories, and they contain so many powerful wisdoms in a delightful way, that speaks to the heart and the inner child.
Imagine a world where everyone returned to that innocence.
What a wonderful, magical world we would all live inπ€
Yes Vivienne, that innocence you speak of arises when the ego is absent. Children have no ego β they play, laugh, and move through life freely. They donβt carry grudges, they donβt brood over the past, and they donβt scheme about the future. They live fully in the present moment. As we grow older, the ego creeps in, covering that natural innocence with layers of pride, fear, and desire. To return to innocence is not about becoming childish, but childlike β simple, open, and free of the heavy burden of βmeβ and βmine.β
I love the way you connected fairies with nurturing positivity. I imagine practices like loving kindness meditation is like sending magical energies to those weakened fairies in us so they grow bigger and brighter.
For years I only practice observing type of meditation. Recently I started to add nurturing positivity type of meditation. And it works really well. Itβs different from positive psychology which feels forcing to me. Itβs more like a gentle blessing to the self and others to bring up the dormant light hidden within.

Yes Meredith.
I truly believe Children are our greatest Teachers right now.
As you say...they live fully in the present moment and that is what I am learning right nowπ
Children, like nature, are powerful teachers. Neither have ego π€
