Thank you for this dose of inspiration. 🙏 “That invisible current has carried me this far, and I trust it will carry me further still.” While I have faith in the current, reading this is taking away any lingering doubts…and encouraging me to really act on it—which I’m trying to do. Thank you for your words.
Yes, and thank you. I’m trying to act on the current’s guidance but my repeated inability to do so (while tending to other tasks that I perhaps mistakenly believed the current had led me to or that I need for some sanity) has made me lose some confidence. Wisdom and clarity and energy seem to come and go. I see a lifetime of preparation and also have learned and continue to learn from mistakes, but then as things slip through my fingers or ideas remain unrealized, I feel like maybe the current gave up on me, when in fact I was being sincere…which I know is ridiculous.
First of all, the current will never give up on you. How could it? You are the most important person in this entire universe, so why would it abandon you? The real battle we all face is with our own mind—its doubts, distractions, and endless pulls. Above the mind, though, is a higher faculty. I call it the intellect; you may have another word for it. Whatever we name it, that faculty is there, waiting to be strengthened and made louder than the mind’s noise.
And one of the best ways to do that is simply to keep writing. Writing clears the fog. It strengthens clarity. It anchors the current so it can flow through you more steadily. Even when the words feel small or imperfect. Trust that every effort counts. The current has not left you, it is guiding you with every step of the way.
Thank you so much for the care, Meredith. I really appreciate it. Indeed, I have been learning about the ways I've distracted myself or let myself get pulled into situations that weren't ideal. I am writing now and look forward to feeling a steady flow of the current.

Am glad they help.
May I ask, what are you having doubts about?
